Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Epx-EYFP/cre)#Voeh expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA transgene consists of a BAC clone 193P5 (encoding the eosinophil peroxidase gene Epx) of the mouse genomic BAC library RPCI-23 modified to insert an eYFP-Cre fusion protein cassette directly after the start codon of Epx by homologous recombination in bacteria. Founder information and line numbers were not available. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. While cre activity was preserved in the transgenic mice, the eYFP fluorescence was lost. (J:224642)
