Mutation details: Using mouse BAC RP23-99F21, which contains the Cfap53 gene, sequence for (Gly4Ser)3 linker peptide, the Venus fluorescent protein gene sequence, poly(A) signal sequence and a loxP site were inserted immediately upstream of the Cfap53 stop codon in exon 8. Founder strain 66 carries one copy of this Cfap53-Venus fusion transgene.
