Mutation details: CRISPR/Cas9 technology inserted a hemagglutinin tag sequence followed by four stop codons (HA-Stop sequence) 3' of the four initial amino acids (EFCY) after the last transmembrane helix. This results in the truncation of the entire cytoplasmic tail after the fourth amino acid after the last transmembrane helix. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein containing the cytoplasmic tail domain in homozygotes.
