Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Amelx-icre)#Ppap expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgene was created by modifying BAC by replacing exon 2 of the mouse Amelx gene with an improved cre recombinase gene (icre). An FRT-flanked kanamycin resistance cassette was removed prior to injection. 4 independent BAC founder lines (854, 863, 872, and 876) were collected. Line 854 and 872 were selected for studies due to a strong ameloblast-specific expression pattern. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:278625)
