• Mutation details: A BAC targeting construct harbouring the mouse Tardpb locus (BAC B6Ng01-103M13) was engineered to replace the gene from the ATG start site to the TAG stop codon with the orthologous human TARDBP genomic sequence derived from a BAC with the human TARDPB locus (BAC RP11-829B14), and an FRT-flanked PGK/gb2/Neo cassette was inserted into intron 3 of the human gene. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. (J:342505)
