Mutation
origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:293624
Parent Cell Line:  v6.5 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (C57BL/6 x 129S4/SvJae)F1
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Epitope tag)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsAn sgRNA targeting the ATG start codon and an oligonucleotide repair template encoding two tandem copies of the FLAG epitope tag was used to generate an insertion of a FLAG tag at the beginning of the coding region. Immunohistochemical analysis showed that the epitope tagged version of the protein was expressed in epithelial cells of the developing face and palate. (J:293624)
