Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Specified)
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsExon 7 was replaced with a floxed neomycin resistance cassette and exon 7 mutated to produced the nucleotide substitution of asparagine with lysine at position 256 (N256K). Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and allowed for expression of the mutated allele. This mutation is present in human patients with pancreatitis. (J:300037)
