description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Conditional ready, Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(CAG-OVAL*)USA9Jjmn expresses 1 gene

Tg(CAG-OVAL*)USA9Jjmn expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThis randomly integrated transgene encodes a membrane-bound (using the transmembrane domain of the mouse H2-Db) version of chicken ovalbumin in which additional T cell antigenic peptide epitopes are embedded. These additional epitopes include 2W1S (EAWGALANWAVDSA), and lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) gp33 (KAVYNFATM) and gp66 (DIYKGVYQFKSV), which function as the Universal Self Antigen (USA). Expression is driven by the CAG (beta actin) promoter, and is made conditional by the upstream insertion of a transcriptional stop signal flanked by loxP sites. (J:284012)
