Mutation
origin
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6J
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsLeft TAL effector (50,191,867-50,191,883 bp) and right TAL effector (50,191,899-50,191,915 bp) separated by the FokI cleavage zone was used to introduce a 16 bp frameshift deletion in the first coding exon (exon 4). The mutation results in a premature stop codon. Founder 28 was established. qPCR analysis demonstrated a significant downregulation of transcript levels in heterozygous mutant mice. (J:232145)
