Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Tbx6-cre)#Rsam expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsUsing a bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC), transgene was created such that the cre recombinase is driven by Tbx6 regulatory sequences. The Cre recombinase expression cassette was inserted into into a bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC; clone# RP24239G12) containing Tbx6 locus with approximately 84 Kb upstream, 4 Kb of the open reading frame and 73 Kb downstream sequences at the 1st exon of Tbx6 such that 14 nucleotides (25th to 39th bases) including the ATG are removed. Four lines were generated with similar expression patterns. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:274134)
