Mutation details: The transgene was comprised of a 600-bp rat insulin II promoter (RIP) fragment and the 3-UTR of the mouse MHC Ea-II gene, including the polyadenylation sequence, flanking a 676-bp Sma/Bgl I fragment of the human IAPP cDNA, containing the entire coding sequence of the gene. Only one line, 25-3 was studied further.
