Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThis allele from IMPC was generated at the Welcome Trust Sanger Institute. Four sgRNAs were used to target the 5 and 3 intronic flanking regions thereby deleting exon 5. Sanger Sequencing confirmed the CRISPR/Cas9-mediated deletion of 475 bp including the deletion of the entire exon 5. Western blot analysis demonstrated absence of protein expression in testis extracts from homozygous mutant male mice. (J:237616, J:339470)
