Mutation details: A NLS-lacZ gene and a FRT-flanked neomycin resistance gene replaced the complete coding sequence via homologous recombination. Flp-medidated recombination removed the neomycin resistance gene. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in mouse embryonic fibroblasts.
