Mutation detailsA DNA fragment encoding the cre/ERT2 fusion protein with a poly A sequence was inserted at the endogenous ATG translational start site of a murine Pax8 sequence. The construct was injected into C57BL/6J blastocysts. Five transgenic founders were identified, and data for one of them (Line C) is reported. The transgene integration in this line was localized via fluorescence in situ hybridization and paired-end whole genome sequencing to an intergenic region of Chr 6qC1 (chr6:62,912,590-62,912,610; GRCh38/mm10).
