• Mutation details: The full-length mouse cDNA was cloned into the pCDNA3.1(+) vector downstream of the CMV promoter and upstream of the bovine growth hormone (BGH) polyadenylation signal and transcription termination sequence. Linearized vector was injected into the pronucleus of fertilized C57BL/6J zygotes. Five transgenic founders (number #14, #50, #55, #63 and #79) were established. The transgene copy number in F1, F2 and F3 generations of founder #50 was determined to be around 17 on average. Western blot analysis showed the expression of the 18 kDa product from the transgene.
