QTL Mmwdq1 maps to 140.7 - 143.3 Mb on Chromosome 5 with a peak LOD score of 3.661 in linkage with male medulla width. C57BL/6J alleles increase medulla width at the Mmwdq1 locus.

Suggestive QTL for male adrenal width were mapped to chromosome 1.
