• Mutation details: Cre-mediated excision of the parental Ccdc67^{tm1(KOMP)Vlcg} allele resulted in the removal of the neomycin selection cassette and critical exon(s) leaving behind the inserted lacZ reporter sequence. RT-qPCR analysis showed that Deup1 mRNA levels are reduced by at least 10-fold in homozygous brain and testes samples. Full-length DEUP1 protein is undetectable by immunoblotting in differentiating tracheal epithelial cells and ependymal cells.
