Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Constitutively active, Inducible, Inserted expressed sequence)
Inducer:    rapamycin
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(CAG-Mtor*)#Atai expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of the ubiquitous CAG promoter, a floxed neo cassette, and the mutant rat Mtor kinase, which harbors four point mutations in the FKBP12-rapamycin binding and kinase domains (V2198A, L2216H, L2260P, and I2017T) with a FLAG tag at the N terminus. Excision of the floxed neo gene by cre recombinase induces active Mtor expression. The pound symbol (#) is used when a line is not specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:211789)
