Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:209620
Parent Cell Line:  Not Specified (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S1/SvImJ
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4 and an FRT flanked neo cassette and loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 4 via homologous recombination. Cre mediated recombination removed exon 4 and the neo cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in brain microsomes from homozygous mice. (J:209620)
