Parent Cell Line:  Other (see notes) (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (129/Sv x C57BL/6J)F1
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 15. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 15. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 15 and the selection cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression. (J:207867)
