Mutation details: The mouse promoter drives neuron-specific expression of this transgene that includes a mutagenized green fluorescent calcium indicator (GCaMP6f), woodchuck hepatitis virus posttranscriptional regulatory element (WPRE), and bovine growth hormone (bGH) polyadenylation sequence. GCaMP consists of a circularly permutated green fluorescent protein (cpGFP), the calcium-binding protein calmodulin
(CaM), and CaM-interacting M13 peptide. This GCaMP6f variant of GCaMP incorporates A317E, T381R, S383T, and R392G mutations in CaM. Lines GP5.5 and GP5.11 were generated.
