• Mutation details: Using recombineering methods, a cre/ERT2 cassette was inserted at the ATG codon in exon 1 of the Tff2 gene in the BAC RP24-335C10. The modified BAC construct was injected into fertilized CBA x C57BL/6J oocytes. Three founders positive for the transgene were obtained and F4 or F5 generations were crossed to reporter mice for analyses. The three lines show similar recombination patterns and 2 of these were used to carry out further experiments. (J:198266)
