Mutation detailsThe promoter drives expression of the FLAG-tagged cDNA in cartilage. In line 2, the transgene inserted between exon 5 and 6, resulting in a 3 kb duplication. RT-PCR confirmed the absence of transgene expression in the central nervous system. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of endogenous protein expression in the spinal cord. (J:187705)
