Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Myh6-Tpm1*E180G)57Dfw expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of the murine alpha-myosin heavy chain cardiac-specific promoter ligated to the 5' end of the mouse alpha-tropomyosin with a single point mutation (GAG to GGG) corresponding to a glycine substitution for a glutamic acid at codon 180. This region interacts with troponin T. Quantification of the transgene demonstrates that copy number in line 57 is 22 copies. (J:127507, J:172340)
