Mutation details: Exon 4 was replaced with a loxP site, modified exon 4 contained nucleotide substitutions that result in the the amino acid substitution of arginine for lysine at position 185 (K185R), and FRT-flanked puro cassette with a 3' loxP. Flp-mediated recombination removed the puro cassette. LoxP sites flanking modified exon 4 remain in this allele.
