Mutation detailsA concatemer of sleeping beauty transposable elements each consisting of optimized inverted repeat direct repeat sequence specific for sleeping beauty transposase flanking splice acceptor sites (from engrailed-2) and poly A signals in both orientations. Between the splice acceptor sites is the sequence for the CAG promoter followed by a splice donor site. Two lines were created (lines 12740 and 12775) with 11 and 28 copies of the transgenic transposon concatemer inserted into chromosome 9 and 12, respectively. Line 12740 was selected as the representative line. (J:153656)
