Mutation detailsThis allele was created by transfer of a male natural killer T cells nucleus (C57BL/6 x 129/Sv)F1 background) into an enucleated oocyte. A blastocyte was grown and transferred into pseudopregnant mouse. One of the Tcra alleles in the transferred nuclei had a productive, in-frame recombination of the Valpha14-Jalpha281 gene segments and it was this allele that was propagated. Sequence analysis determined this productive recombination occurred on the genetic locus contributed by the C57BL/6 parent. (J:152069)
