Mutation description

Allele Type: Targeted (Conditional ready, No functional change) Mutation: Insertion Mutation details: An enhanced GFP coding cassette was knocked into exon 1 of the locus immediately downstream of the first ATG of the open reading frame. A FRT-flanked neomycin cassette and a loxP site were inserted upstream of exon 2, and an additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 4. Mice were crossed with cre-deleter mice to remove the neomycin cassette. Homozygous mice expressed a fluorescent eGFP-Rela fusion protein as determined by immunoblot and flow cytometry analyses on spleen, thymus and lymph node cells. Endogenous function of the locus was unaffected as determined by several biochemical and phenotypical analyses. (J:148519)
