• Mutation details: This mutation comprises an A to T transversion in the intron 6 acceptor splice site (TCCCAG->TCCCTG), at nucleotide position 19597 of the gene sequence (Genbank NC_000076). The mutation is predicted to result in the in-frame deletion from the mature transcript of the entire 155 bp seventh exon. Neither cell surface nor intracellular staining with antibodies to integrin beta 2 detects the protein in homozygous mutant mice. (J:139559)
