Mutation details: A human alpha-skeletal actin promoter, active in striated muscle, heart, and skeletal muscle drives the expression of a FLAG-tagged rat Musk cDNA. A rabbit beta-globin intron and SV40 polyadenylation signal were also included. This line expresses Musk at approximately 20-fold greater levels in skeletal muscle than controls.
