Mutation details: Exons 2 through 4 were replaced with a neo cassette leading to the formation of an alternative transcript from an in-frame ATG in exon 5. This shorter transcript lacks the first bromodomain. The absence of full-length protein product and the presence of a truncated protein product were confirmed by western blot analysis.
