Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsExon 4 was deleted by Cre-mediated recombination to create a truncated protein product of 72 amino acids that lacks any functional elements of the protein. This allele also contains an FRT flanked neo cassette upstream of the deleted exon 4. The absence of protein was confirmed by western blot analysis on mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. Removal of the neo cassette has no effect on the phenotype. (J:124971)
