Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA selection cassette containing a loxP site and frt flanked neomycin gene was inserted in intron 5. A second loxP site was inserted into the 3' untranslated region as well. Exon 6 was then deleted by cre-mediated excision of a floxed neo cassette. Excision was confirmed by PCR of genomic DNA. (J:119939)
