Mutation
origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:83810
Parent Cell Line:  AB2.2 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S7/SvEvBrd-Hprt1b-m2
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intergenic deletion

Mutation detailsAn 800kb deletion including the last 8 exons of Uchl3 and the entire Lmo7 gene was created using Cre-loxP recombination in ES cells to insert loxP sites at the breakpoints of the intended deletion. Targeting vectors were injected into AB2.2 ES cells and correctly targeted clones were electroporated with a Cre-expressing plasmid to excise the 800kb region. (J:83810)
