• Mutation details: A genomic fragment encompassing exons 5 through 9a was replaced with a floxed neo cassette inserted by homologous recombination. The deleted region encoded the catalytic ATPase domain (DEXDc). Protien was undetected in homozygous mutant ES cells by Western blot analysis of nuclear and cytoplasmic extracts. RT-PCR analysis of mutant ES cells corraborated these findings at the RNA level. (J:86695)
