Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:86411
Parent Cell Line:  BL/6-III (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutations:    Insertion, Intergenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe endogenous DQ52 and all four heavy chain J elements were replaced by the rearranged heavy chain VDJ region from VI10 (for a VSV-IND-neutralizing antibody) and a floxed neomycin resistance cassette. The neomycin cassette was removed in vivo by breeding to Cre deleter mice. Between 10 and 15% of B cells express this allele. (J:86411)
