Mutation detailsLmr14 was identified influencing IgE level in interaction with Lmr25 on mouse Chromosome 10. BALB/c homozygotes at Lmr25 and STS/A homozygotes at Lmr14 or combination of BALB/c homozygtes at these loci resulted in increased IgE levels. This allele also confer increased spontaneous in vitro splenocyte proliferation of Leishmania infected animals compared to STS/A.

Lmr14 exhibits additive inheritance.

Homozygosity for BALB/cHeA alleles at Lmr12 and Lmr14 confers increased serum TNF-alpha. Eache locus has minimal effect by itself.
