Mutation details: The coding region of exon 1 was replaced with lacZ. The floxed neo selection cassette was excised in vivo. Northern and Western blot analyses indicated an absence of normal transcript and protein in homozygous mutant mice. Expression of lacZ was driven by the endogenous promoter.
