• Mutation details: Sequence encompassing a portion of exon 2 and all of exons 3 through 6 was replaced with a vector containing lacZ and neo. The deleted sequence encoded the majority of the T-box. Normal protein was undetected in homozygous mutant mice by immunohistochemical analysis. The lacZ expression pattern was similar to that of the endogenous gene. (J:82562)
