Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Spontaneous
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsA transversion mutation (C to A) resulted in a histidine to glutamine substitution at codon 128. The mutation is in a region of 24 conserved residues in the amino terminal non-catalytic domain and was demonstrated by biochemical assays to confer increased phosphatase activity. Identification of this allele was facilitated by linkage to Mst1rFv2. (J:80142)
