Notes

In J:53431, the original chimeric mice were crossed to four different genetic backgrounds. In three (unspecified) backgrounds mortality was 100% penetrant, whereas crosses to the NMRI background produced some surviving heterozygotes, which were used to generate homozygous embryos.
