Strain of Origin:  129X1/SvJ
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe entire coding region for the mature protein, contained by exons 2 through 8, was replaced with a neomycin selection cassette. Northern blot analysis of total hepatic RNA showed an absence of transcript in homozygous mutant mice. An assay of procoagulation detected no such activity in homozygous mutant mice. (J:44294)
