• Mutation details: A neomycin resistance cassette replaced part of exon II and all of exons III and IV. Northern blot analysis using a full length cDNA probe did not detect transcript in homozygous mutant E11.5 embryos. Immunoblot analysis using a polyclonal antibody detected a 21kDa band in liver and brain that was reduced by 50% in heterozygote mice compared with wild-type mice. (J:73121)
