Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Krt14tm1.1(cre)Wbm expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA cre gene was inserted in frame into the gene immediately following the endogenous start codon. An frt-flanked neomycin selection cassette that was inserted following the cre gene was removed by Flp-mediated recombination in ES cells prior to production of chimeric mice. This promoter is active after birth in the epidermis and hair follicles as well as the eye, tongue, and esophagus. (J:69463)
