Notes

This neurological mutation was found in offspring of a male mouse that had been treated with diethylsulphate. Affected mice develop slowly. They exhibit a staggering gait, ataxia, reduced mobility, cerebellar lesions, and have a narrowed face. Homozygous mutant mice mice die at 1.5 to 2 months old (J:13500).
