Molecular description: A 3519-bp mouse Colq gene promoter pColQ1a (positions 31,557,37131,553,853 on chromosome 14 according to GRCm38/mm10) was ligated to NLS and Cre cDNA to generate a transgene. The promoter is specifically active at the NMJ, but not at the extrajunctional regions, of the fast-twitch muscle. Line numbers were not indicated.
