Molecular description: Site-specific PhiC31 integrase-mediated transgenesis is used to insert H19 insulator flanked fragment of the Smarcd3-F6 fragment, including approximately 2.5 kb of the 5 end of the Smarcd3-F1 enhancer and Hsp68 minimal promoter followed by cre/ERT coding sequence and EF1 poly signal into the intergenic site 2 locus (Hipp11). This construct was microinjected, along with the PhiC31 integrase mRNA, into the pronuclei of zygotes collected from the TARGATT mice.
