Slc9a3tm2.1(cre/ERT2)Niba - Alimentary System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Slc9a3tm2.1(cre/ERT2)Niba
solute carrier family 9 (sodium/hydrogen exchanger), member 3; targeted mutation 2.1, Nick Barker
Driver: Slc9a3
Type: Targeted (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer: tamoxifen
Synonym: Slc9a3-2A-creERT2
Molecular description: Sequence for the 2A self-cleaving peptide, a cre-ERT2 fusion gene and a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette were inserted immediately before the stop codon. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent cre-mediated recombination. This allele expresses the endogenous peptide and the inserted cre-ERT2 fusion peptide.
