Wt1em1(cre/ERT2)Bzsh - Mesenchyme
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Wt1em1(cre/ERT2)Bzsh
WT1 transcription factor; endonuclease-mediated mutation 1, Bin Zhou
Driver: Wt1
Type: Endonuclease-mediated (Conditional ready, Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer: tamoxifen
Synonym: Wt1-CrexER
Molecular description: The mouse line was generated by homologous recombination using the CRISPR/Cas9 technology. A complementary DNA encoding Cre recombinase fused with 2 rox sequences flanking a mutant form of the ESR hormone-binding domain (ERT2) was inserted into the translational start site of the Wt1 gene and followed by a polyadenylation sequence.
