Tg(Kcne1-cre/ERT2)1Imos - Cardiovascular System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Tg(Kcne1-cre/ERT2)1Imos
transgene insertion 1, Ivan P Moskowitz
Driver: Kcne1
Type: Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer: tamoxifen
Synonym: minK:CreERT2
Molecular description: The transgene construct was generated by BAC recombineering methods in bacteria. The Kcne1 (minK) coding sequence in BAC RP23276-120 was replaced with a cre/ERT2-bGH pA-Frt-Zeo-Frt cassette. The purified BAC was microinjected into fertilized CD-1 oocytes. Four founder lines that exhibited consisted inducible cre activity in the cardiac conduction were obtained. One line was analyzed in greater detail. Line numbers are not available.
